Terms of Use

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Crewty. By accessing or using our booking management platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Crewty is a software-as-a-service platform that helps businesses manage bookings, staff, clients, messaging, and related operations. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting your credentials.

3.2 Account types

The Service supports owner/admin, staff, and client roles with different permissions set by the business.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to comply with applicable laws, provide accurate booking and account information, keep credentials confidential, use the Service for its intended purposes, and not attempt unauthorized access.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, harassment, impersonation, malware, scraping without permission, spam, or infringement of others’ rights, or to bypass security controls.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and Crewty branding are owned by Crewty. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Crewty a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Crewty subscription

Fees for your Crewty software subscription are billed by Crewty (via Stripe on Crewty’s account) as described at signup and in the product. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless we state otherwise. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice.

7.2 Client payments — your Stripe account

When you accept online payments from your customers through the Service (deposits, invoices, card-on-file charges, recurring charges, and similar), those payments are processed by Stripe on your Stripe account using credentials you connect in Settings. For those transactions:

Crewty provides software that initiates payment flows on your behalf using your connected Stripe credentials. Crewty is not the merchant of record for your clients’ job payments and is not liable for chargebacks, refunds, or fraud losses on those charges.

7.3 Platform or application fees

If Crewty charges any platform or application fee on certain payment flows, that fee will be disclosed in the product or at the time of the transaction. Subscription fees for the Crewty software are separate from Stripe’s card processing fees on your account.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREWTY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, INTERRUPTIONS, BUGS, OR ERRORS IN CONTENT — INCLUDING LOSSES RELATED TO CLIENT PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, OR CHARGEBACKS ON YOUR STRIPE ACCOUNT.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crewty and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your Stripe payment activity, or your violation of third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Crewty operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as a class action, where permitted by law.

14. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
