How can we help?

Find answers to common questions below, or reach out to our team directly.

After signing up and verifying your email, you'll be taken to the onboarding page. Select "Create a business," fill in your business name, contact details, and address across three short steps, then click "Create Business." You'll be redirected to your admin dashboard immediately.
Crewty offers three plans: Starter ($29/mo) for solo operators with 1 active service and up to 3 staff, Pro ($59/mo) for growing businesses with 3 active services and up to 10 staff, and Premium ($99/mo) for large teams with 5 active services and unlimited staff. All plans include scheduling, calendar, and client management. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings.
After creating your account and business, you'll be prompted to choose a subscription plan. You can explore the dashboard interface before subscribing, but an active plan is required to use booking, staff, and client management features.
Click the "Add Booking" button in the sidebar. Fill in the customer details, select a service, choose a date and time, and optionally assign staff. The booking will appear on your schedule calendar immediately. You can also share your booking form link so clients can book themselves.
Go to the "Forms" section in your dashboard and click "Create Service." You'll walk through a step-by-step editor to set the service name, base price, duration, custom form fields, and optional extras. Once saved, you can toggle the service to active. Your plan determines how many services can be active simultaneously.
Yes. You can share your public booking page link or embed the booking form on your website. Clients select a service, pick a date and time slot, enter their details, and submit. The booking shows up on your dashboard as "Pending" for you to review and assign.
Click on any booking in your schedule to open its details. From there you can edit the date, time, assigned staff, or cancel the booking entirely. Cancelled bookings are moved out of the active schedule and visible in your history for record-keeping.
Go to the "Staff" section and enter the email address of the person you'd like to invite. They'll receive an email with an invitation link that expires after 7 days. Once they accept, they appear in your active staff list and can be assigned to bookings. There is a 15-minute cooldown between invitations to prevent accidental duplicates.
In the Staff section, click "Edit Rate" next to any staff member to set their hourly rate. When a job is completed and marked as done, Crewty automatically calculates the payment amount based on the job duration and the staff member's rate. You can view and manage all payments from the Payments section.
Yes. When viewing a booking's details, you can add multiple staff members and set each person's split percentage. When the job is completed, payments are calculated proportionally based on each person's share of the work time.
The "Clients" section shows all customers who have booked with you or been invited. You can search and filter clients, view their booking history, and invite new clients by email. Clients who accept an invitation get their own portal where they can view upcoming bookings and communicate with your team.
Yes. Invited clients can log in to their own dashboard where they can see their upcoming and past bookings, receive notifications, and send messages to the business. The client portal is read-only for bookings — they can view details but scheduling changes go through the business admin.
When a booking is marked as completed, a payment record is automatically created based on the assigned staff member's hourly rate and the job duration. You can then pay via Stripe (if connected) or mark the payment as sent manually. Staff members see their payment status in their own portal and can confirm receipt. This feature is available on Pro and Premium plans.
Go to Settings and find the "Stripe Connect" section. Click "Connect with Stripe" to start the onboarding process. You'll be redirected to Stripe to set up or link your account. Once connected, you can accept online payments from clients and send staff payments directly through the platform.
Go to Settings and select the "Subscription" tab. You'll see your current plan and options to change it. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period. You can also manage your billing details and payment method through the Stripe billing portal.
If your subscription lapses, your data is preserved but access to most dashboard features is restricted until you resubscribe. You won't lose any bookings, client data, or payment history. Simply choose a plan from the subscription page to regain full access.
On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link. If you signed up with Google, you don't have a Crewty password — simply use the "Sign in with Google" button instead.
Yes. From Settings, you can invite additional admins to help manage your workspace. The number of admin seats depends on your plan. Admins have the same capabilities as the owner except they cannot delete the business or remove the owner. Only the business owner can invite or remove admins.
Crewty is built on Google Firebase with enterprise-grade security. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Firestore security rules enforce strict access control — users can only access data they're authorized to see. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe; we never store banking or card details on our servers.
Yes. In your Settings under "Embed," you'll find a code snippet you can add to any website. The embedded form lets clients book directly from your site without leaving it. You can customize the appearance to match your brand colors.
