Setting up your company
Profile, services, hours, and the settings that make bookings work.
Your company setup controls what clients see when they book and how jobs behave on the calendar. You can find all of this under Settings in the admin dashboard.
1. Company profile
Add your business name, contact email, phone, and address. This information appears on booking pages, invoices, and client emails, so keep it accurate.
2. Services and pricing
Add each service you offer with a name, duration, and price. Duration matters because it drives the estimated hours on a job and the time blocked on your calendar. If you charge by the hour or by a flat rate, set that here so quotes and invoices are consistent.
3. Business hours and time zone
Set your working hours so clients can only book real availability, and set your time zone. Every booking time, reminder, invoice, and clock-in alert uses this time zone, so getting it right prevents confusing off-by-hours emails.
4. Jobs and payouts
Under Jobs and Payouts you decide how staff pay is calculated:
- By actual clocked time: staff clock in and out, and pay is based on real time worked.
- By booked time: pay is based on the job's estimated hours, with no clock needed.
You can also auto-complete a job when the last assigned staff member clocks out, or leave jobs to be completed manually.
5. Deposits and currency
Choose your currency once, since it applies to all payments, invoices, and deposits. If you want money up front, turn on deposits and pick a percentage or a fixed amount (see Deposits and invoices).
Once your profile, services, hours, and Stripe are in place, you are ready to invite staff and share your booking link.
